Terms and Conditions

By submitting a text for translation, the Client enters into a binding agreement with this Company as follows:

1. Definitions
"The Company" means OOO B-Lingvo, Brest, Belarus."Work" means any translation or any other work undertaken by or any other services supplied by the Company."Client" means any person or corporate entity to whom the Company shall supply work.

2. Quotations
Verbal quotations are given for guidance only. They are not binding upon the Company and are subject to written confirmation on receipt of the text for translation. Written quotations remain valid for 30 days after dispatch unless otherwise stated. The cost of translation is based upon the number of words of text in the source language.

The company reserves the right to make an additional charge to the quoted amount, if after commencement of translation, changes to the source text are advised by the Client. Such charge will be agreed with the Client.Each assignment accepted and completed on the same day shall be treated as a super-express one. Each assignment completed for the next business day shall be treated as an express one.In case of an assignment commissioned to be completed in an express rate (more than 8 pages a day) the basic price shall be increased by 50%, in the case of a super-express rate (more than 12 pages a day) – by 100%.The assignment completion time does not include the day the order has been accepted by the Company, the day the translation is to be collected by the Client, Saturdays, and Sundays.

3. Payments
The Client shall make a full or part payment prior to the commencement of the work, unless otherwise specifically agreed by the Company. Payments shall be made by wire transfer to the Company’s USD or EUR account, or by credit card using a payment form on the Company’s website. In case of payments by credit card, the Company shall email a payment link to the Client. The Client shall use the link provided by the Company to access the payment webpage and pay the amount, previously agreed with the Company.

4. Cancellation and suspension
Should the Client for any reason cancel the Work which he or she has commissioned, charges will be payable for all completed Work up to the cancellation date and for all other costs and expenses which may occur as a result of such cancellation.

If the Client suspends or postpones Work he or she has commissioned, charges will be payable for all commissioned Work up to the date of suspension or postponement and for all other costs and expenses which may occur as a result of such suspension.

5. Delivery
Delivery is deemed to have taken place on electronic delivery by email to the Client’s email address specified.

However, the Company will retain a copy of the translation and, should there be any loss or damage, will forward a further copy free of charge.

6. Copyright
The Copyright of the translation is the property of the Company and will be passed on to the Client only after full payment has been made for the translation.
