The scope of this guidance document is to provide a guideline on effective and practical equipment monitoring as part of a selected equipment maintenance strategy. It is the intent to widen the view and application of equipment performance monitoring to more then just rotating equipment condition monitoring which is a fairly narrow application in the whole field of performance monitoring. The approach encompasses all aspects of monitoring techniques where possible and emphasizes the important of making decisions and taking actions on performance information, not just to monitor.
The purpose of developing and implementing an equipment performance monitoring strategy is to provide proactive and predictive information upon which to take action and prevent lost profit opportunity and preventable expenditure from equipment outage. |

Настоящая инструкция предусматривает предоставление рекомендаций по эффективному и практичному контролю за оборудованием как части выбранной стратегии ТО оборудования. Ее целью является расширение представления и применения контроля рабочих характери-стик оборудования не только в рамках контроля за состоянием вращающегося оборудования, что само по себе является достаточно узконаправленной областью примене-ния в масштабах всей сферы использования контроля за рабочими характеристиками. Дан-ных подход охватывает все аспекты технологий контроля, где это возможно, и делает упор на важность принятия решений и мер по данным эксплуатационных характеристик, а не про-сто на осуществление контроля.
Целью разработки и реализации стратегии контроля рабочих характеристик оборудования является обеспечения наличия упредительной и предупредительной информации, на осно-вании которой можно предпринимать действия и предотвращать возникновение возможно-стей упущенной прибыли, а также устранять предотвратимые затраты, связанные с просто-ями оборудования
