Lava Ceram overlay porcelain and Lava Frame mill blanks, both manufactured for or by 3M ESPE, are components of the Lava System for fabrication of all-ceramic resto-rations. These overlay porcelains and mill blanks are specially designed to be used in combination and cannot be combined with other porcelains.
Lava Ceram overlay porcelains are available in 16 VITA-Classic colors and in 3 additional bleach colors; the color range consists of the following powders and the corre-sponding mixing liquids:
Preparation of the porcelain furnace
The precise results of the firing are dependent on the construction of the furnace, the firing procedure, the firing tray used, and the size of the dental object. We recommend calibrating the ceramic furnace before the first Lava Ceram firing as shown below to achieve the desired results:
? Program the “Initial dentin and enamel firing” as described under “Firing Procedure.”
? Mix Lava Ceram Clear and model a color sample which, after firing, corresponds to the color sample in the shade guide in shape and layer thickness.
? Fire the color sample according to the firing instructions “Initial dentin and enamel firing.”
? After the color sample has cooled, compare it with the color sample of the shade guide - translucence and color must match.
? If there are any deviations, the firing procedure must be adjusted; see Prevention of Processing Errors. |

Фарфоровая облицовка Lava Ceram предусмотрена в 16 расцветках VITA-Classic и в трех вариантах отбеливающих расцветок; цветовой ряд состоит из следующих порошков и соответствующих жидкостей для смешивания:
Подготовка печи для обжига керамики
Точные результаты обжига зависят от конструкции печи, процедуры обжига, используемого тригера для обжига и размера дентального объекта. Рекомендуем произвести калибровку печи для обжига керамики до начала первого обжига Lava Ceram, как объясняется ниже, для достижения желаемых результатов:
? Запрограммировать «Первоначальный обжиг дентина и эмали» в соответствии с описанием под заголовком «Процедура обжига».
? Смешать Lava Ceram Clear и смоделировать цветовой образец, который после обжига будет соответствать цветовому образцу в гарнитуре искусственных зубов и по толщине слоя.
? Произвести обжиг цветового образца в соответствии с правилами обжига по «Первоначальному обжигу дентина и эмали».
? После остывания цветового образца сравнить его с цветовым образцом из гарнитура искусственных зубов – светопроницаемость и цвет должны совпадать.
? При обнаружении каких-либо отклонений необходимо подкорректировать процедуру обжига. См. раздел Предотвращение ошибок при обработке.
